Promote customer awareness of Acxiom and their products. Develop a direct mail piece and premium that would have lasting residual effect and remind customers that Acxiom was the originator of key industry standard software as well as ongoing leading edge innovators.
Solution
King & Associates developed a poster size broadside. It utilized a printing technique that appeared 3D when viewed with the enclosed glasses. The kit was mailed in an envelope with a teaser message. The poster was appropriate for hanging in the office and recipients enjoyed the effects the glasses created on other printed pieces as well as our poster. Both the poster and glasses gave 'staying-power' to our message.
Results
The mailing generated a 27% response rate more than double the expected rate. With most replys requesting additional information about Acxiom products and some just expressing the fun they had with the promotion. And because many saved the glasses and poster, leads are continuing to be generated even months later. |
